High-end manufacturing reflects the overall national strength and international competitiveness of a country. Science, technology and innovation of manufacturing industry has increasingly become the core of international cooperation.

The new round of scientific and technological revolution, as well as industrial and product innovation forms the global high-end manufacturing industry and technology cooperation system, featured by "cross border integration and collaboration".

It is imperative to accelerate all-round cooperation in the whole industrial chain of high-end manufacturing, including major projects, advanced technology, industrial capital and talents, with the latest model and on the basis of multilateral international cooperation.

Initiation:

In May 2019, in the first Global High-End Manufacturing Summit (GHMS) , Annette Nijs, former Secretary of State Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, Global Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific CEO Association (APCEO), recipient of China's Friendship Award, put forward for the first time the idea of  technology innovation agglomeration bridging China and Europe, applying the successful mode of TechLeap.NL supported by the government and Royal House of the Netherlands.

On this basis, the Asia Pacific CEO Association, a well-known international economic organization, with the support of many international political leaders, academicians, academics, and leaders of Fortune 500 companies, gathered the leading force of industry and technology cooperation in advanced manufacturing, and initiated the Global High-end Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center (GHMIIC).
